DATE NIGHT

Two people.
Zero decisions.

Skip the half-hour restaurant scroll. Give yourselves a limited number of vetoes and let PlateLuck pick dinner.

Make the decision part of the date

The restaurant does not have to be the most optimized choice in town. A date-night picker works because it removes the low-stakes debate and gets both people moving toward the part that matters: spending time together.

Use a two-veto rule

PlateLuck Date Night mode gives the pair two vetoes total. Use them for real dealbreakers such as a food restriction, a place you just visited, or a location that is impractical tonight. Once the vetoes are gone, the next workable result wins.

Go a little farther than usual

Date night is a good excuse to widen the radius beyond the normal takeout loop. A ten- or fifteen-mile search can bring in neighborhoods you rarely consider without forcing you to research every option manually.

Keep cuisine filters light

If both people want Italian, choose Italian. If you are debating categories, leave the picker on Anything. Randomness is most useful when the group has not already made half the decision.

Check the details before leaving

Restaurant hours, reservations and menus change. PlateLuck can surface a nearby option, but it is still smart to open the restaurant website or call before a special-occasion trip.
